PROFILE OF KAMAL JEET CHUGH.
He is into photography, Digital Imaging, Video Production (for Corporates) and Photojournalism. He also does Photofeatures for national and international circulation. His pictures have also been used for book jackets and calendars. Over the years he has won nearly one hundred awards and honors. He had two one-man shows. He was a faculty in photography at Wigan & Leigh College for four years. He teaches basic photography and related subjects.
One of his photographs has found place in the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi.
He began shooting for pleasure but gradually got into professional commercial work. Assignments kept coming but now he again want to work mostly for pleasure and for posterity. He would like to see his images at the best of the places in the world. They are available for sale.
To him simple compositions, interplay of light and colors seem to be the basics. However, that does not mean he does not break rules. Some of his best works fall in that category.
