Raphael's Head of a Muse, a black chalk drawing on paper, sold for $47,941,095, handily beating the estimate, which ranged till $26.3 million. LONDON: An iconic life-sized elephant in a crouched position by UK-born Indian sculptor Bharti Kher will go under the hammer at Sotheby's tomorrow and is expected to fetch Rs 6.84 crore.

KOLKATA/LONDON: A painting by SH Raza sold at Christie's for £2.4 million (Rs 16.42 crore) on Thursday, making it a record for any modern or contemporary Indian work of art, said the auction house.
